Automatically controls capacitor banks of 6 or 12 stages in single-phase networks, and can also act in the control of balanced three-phase networks, keeping the power factor within a programmed range, thus avoiding the payment of fines with the concessionaire due to excessive consumption of reactives (low power factor). It reduces the waste of electrical energy, contributing to a better use of the energy produced. It has function to perform capacitor rotation and monitors the level of total harmonic distortion in the network, being able to remove the capacitors in the case of detection of high level that could cause the burning of capacitive cells.
