IMS Power Quality

The Power CAP 485 controller was designed to operate with a bank of medium voltage capacitors installed in power distribution lines in order to control the voltage level and power factor. In the 3 or 4 stage versions, the Power CAP 485 can be programmed to operate in different strategies such as by time (clock), voltage level, current level or combination of strategies to make the control automatically and adjustable to the user's need. It has special relay outputs for the control of specific switches for the control of capacitors at medium voltage.
