GENERAL INFORMATION
BK-27 is an organoclay for solvent-based systems of medium to high polarity.

INCORPORATIONS
BK-27 belongs to the unconventional type of organoclays group, BK-27 does not require a chemical (polar) activator to reach the proper level of delamination of the organoclay platelet stacks.
However, in order to improve dispersing property and thickening property,high speed shear and proper polar activator will be required.
RECOMMENDED LEVELS
The amount of BK-27 rheology modifier required depends upon the type of organic system and the degree of thickening or other properties desired. Addition levels are typically between 0.5%-2.0% by weight of the total system.

SHELF LIFE
BK-27 has a shelf life of at least two years from date of manufacture. Store in a cool dry place.
